The Maile lei, an indigenous green leaf vine that is found in wet forests throughout the Hawaiian islands are intertwined together beautifully to mark the 'piko', or genesis of our restaurant.  The vine emits a heady cloud of earthy anise fragrance signifying "life and growth".
